INTERPHEX: Please tell us how
your career started.
MOKUOLU: I started my career
working as a post-doctoral scientist
at University of Leeds. Then
after a quick detour into patent
law, I found myself working for a
pharmaceutical CMO. I worked as a
research and development scientist
manufacturing drug products (APIs)
for five years. After this, I moved
to Pall Life sciences as European
technical manager for analytical
chemistry. Just under two years
ago I moved to WMFTG as group
product compliance manager.
INTERPHEX: What are you known
for professionally? What is your
area of expertise?
MOKUOLU: My area of expertise is
around the validation of single use
products in particular extractables
and leachables studies of single
INTERPHEX: What are you most
passionate about professionally?
What most excites you about your
work and the contribution(s)
MOKUOLU: I am most passionate
about new technologies. I am
fascinated to see how single use
components/equipment can be
utilized to manufacture novel
INTERPHEX: Where can we find
you when you’re not working?
What’s your favorite way to spend
some well-deserved time off?
MOKUOLU: In my spare time, I enjoy
walking along the seafront near my
home and taking photographs.
INTERPHEX: Any volunteer
activities you enjoy? Why?
MOKUOLU: I enjoy volunteering at
local schools, trying to engage a
younger generation with a passion
for science and engineering.
INTERPHEX: What are you looking
forward to at INTERHEX this year?
MOKUOLU: I am looking forward to
finding out the new techniques on
show at INTERPHEX this year.

MARKS: Position yourself for
personal and professional growth.
I’ve always found that those

developing a best-in-class organization
that enhances the fabric of our lives by
enabling the success of our clients.

your life thus far?
MARKS: I'm blessed with a
terrific wife of 34 years, 5 children,
and a growing collection of

the industry changed or evolved
in recent years?
MARKS: The regulated life
sciences industry has matured—
more competitive and efficient
manufacturing processes than
30 years ago, the process
technology is less art and
