Silicone Tubing for
APSPG tubing is specially formulated
to withstand the repeated compression and release actions of peristaltic
pumps and offers consistent, dependable performance beyond that
of standard silicone tubing. AdvantaPure recently added another size,
namely .313” I.D. x .500” O.D., to its
stock offering. The USP (United States
Pharmacopoeia) Class VI endorsement applies to the finished tubing
and not to its ingredients only. This
assures users of the product’s purity for fluid transfer in critical applications. The low-volatile-grade
silicone material is platinum cured, certified free of animal-derived ingredients, and meets FDA 21
CFR 177.2600. APSPG is manufactured and packaged in Class 7 (Class 10,000) ISO-certified clean
rooms. With the addition of the .313” I.D. size, a total of eleven sizes from .031” through .500” I.D. are
now stocked. The tubing is sealed in polybags at manufacture and stored in a particulate-controlled

The RFPC is designed to
perform multiple functions in
a Class 100 clean room environment. These versatile
machines can fill,
or screw cap
up to four containers at a time,
of the operations
in synchronization on a common frame—all in
less than 45 sq. ft.

selected, RFPC intermittent motion machines can unscramble, fill, stopper, plug, screw cap and
or tray load vials at speeds of up to 220 per minute with filling accuracy of +\- 0.5%. The RFPC is
PLC controlled and features a stainless steel exterior and all liquid contact parts of 316L stainless
steel. It has a raised sanitary conveyor that transports containers to and from the filling/plug-ging/capping area and comes with a no plug/no cap detection system. Optional features include
servo driven torque heads, over/under torque container reject system, statistical torque value
reporting, no plug/no cap reject system and make-up/back-up detection systems. The low profile
frame, remote plug and cap pick up stations and open flow-through design of the central star-wheel are instrumental in enhancing the passage of laminar air flow and minimizing turbulence.
