The Bio Tube Applicator is a pneumatic device enabling operators to effortlessly connect barbs, filters and other single use components at the touch
of a button. The unit eliminates the need for alcohol-based lubricants in
assembly while potentially reducing the risk of operator repetitive strain
injuries by removing the need for manual force. It has the potential to reduce
production times and provides portability due to its compact size. Being C.E.
marked, it simply requires power and air and has
numerous safety features, like an interlocking cover.
Tubing insertion is controlled by a pecking dial so it
can adapt to different types of materials.

MPC/MPX Back-to-Back Adapters give end
users the flexibility of connecting single-use
systems that feature identical coupling connections at the end of their tubing. Available in a
full range of 1/8- to 1-inch flow configurations,
the single-use connection technology provides
ease-of-use, robust construction and reliable
performance for transferring valuable media for
a wide range of applications, including single-use bag and tubing assemblies, cell banking
systems, bioreactors, mixers, sampling and
filling. Combining both MPC and MPX couplings
provides a reducing option for users who need
to transition between tubing diameters ranging
from 1/8- to 1/2-inch. The insert adapters are
compatible with industry standard MPC and
MPX polycarbonate and polysulfone female
connectors, are offered in polysulfone material
and are able to withstand gamma and autoclave
sterilization. They are manufactured in an ISO
Class 7 certified cleanroom and meet USP Class
VI material standards.

stainless steel construction.
FKM (viton type) is standard,
and EPDM face seals are available.
They offer 100 percent PTFE ball
seats, 300 PSI maximum operating pressure
and a 300°F maximum operating temperature.
Spillage data is less than 1 cc. They also feature a
filled valve for no product residue and 20-degree
rotation in either direction to ease coupling male
and female halves. When liquid is flowing, halves
cannot be uncoupled without turning handles to
the closed position. When halves are apart, handles
