The 24-in. wide Portable Cleanroom from Sentry Air Systems, Inc. provides a compact
and reduced particulate positive-pressure environment. This system, model SS-324-
PCR, is rated as an ISO Class 5 cleanroom cabinet. The design of this device helps
prevent critical forensic evidence from outside contamination for preservation. This
system utilizes a dual stage filtration process which consists of a MERV8 pre-filter and
a HEPA filter with an efficiency rating up to 99.97 percent efficient on particles 0.3
micrometers and larger. For applications requiring a higher efficiency an ULPA filter is
available with an efficiency rating of up to 99.9995 percent at 0.12 micrometers.
Quality Control Room/Clean Lab
HEMCO’s ModuLab is a custom-designed room enclosure with control systems
that meet a variety of environmental and class clean requirements. It can achieve
strict environmental control by incorporating HEPA filtration to regulate air quality
ranging from Class 1,000 to Class 100,000. The unit can be used in conjunction
with dust collectors to control room dust levels. Precise temperature control can
be maintained with optional modified cooling systems for lower temperature
requirements. Humidity can be regulated with desiccant systems available for lower
humidity requirements. The unit features chemical resistant modular construction
and is flexible and durable. A variety of options include a wide selection of doors,
lighting, plumbing, electrical and lab furniture systems that can be factory installed.
Central Research Laboratories offers its Retro-Fit Glove
Ports, which allow users to transform their non-Push-Through Glove Ports into Push-Through Glove Ports
capable of utilizing all of the company’s Push-Through
technologies. To install, the port is simply placed
over the existing port and securely mounted to the
glovebox. Using the Ejection Tool, the glove assembly is
then securely installed into the port and ready for use.
Glove and accessory changes can be quickly and safely
performed at any point without losing containment.
The ports are available for mounting onto 8-inch round
glove port rings. Different configurations can also be
accommodated to convert any existing port to utilize
