CMO/CSO INDUSTRY INSIGHTS
Our survey questions to CMOs/CSOs run the gamut
from asking what types of services they provide to more
in-depth questions about vendor approval processes, industry consolidation and potential future growth areas.
Responses are presented in detail below. Some interesting
observations from the results include the fact that while
respondents were evenly divided as to whether industry
consolidation has helped or hurt their business, fully 80%
said there was more competition for outsourcing dollars.
And finally, in response to the question about perceived
- biopharm (large molecule) or pharmaceutical (small mol-
ecule). But, perhaps the biggest change this year was the
addition of input from CMOs and CSOs on the state of the
contract services industry and its future outlook.
